Rebel Squadrons Executive Staff
An excerpt from Section 2: Administration Structure of the Rebel Squadrons' Bylaws...
"2.7 Executive Staff
It is understood that the FC will need help in executing his or her job. For this reason, the FC may appoint as many Executive Staff members as he or she sees fit. Because all RS members will undoubtedly be interested in this Executive Staff, it is required that the FC keep a current list of active staff positions available at all times.
An officer of the Executive Staff is appointed solely by the FC, and therefore holds as much authority as the FC wishes to imbue him or her with, up to and including the upper limits of the FC's authority as described in section 2.4. For this reason, RS members should treat orders from an Executive Staff officer as if the orders had come from the FC."
With the above in mind, members of the Executive Staff form the core of individuals that facilitate the day-to-day operations of the club. Each Office is charged with an individual area of responsibility to help fulfill the Fleet Commander's mandate to carry out this administrative burden.
Executive Staff Positions
Internet Officer: The Rebel Squadrons Internet Officer (RSIO) is to maintain the RS domain (RS webpages, Roster Database, BBS, email redirects, etc.) to the best of his or her ability, as well as to oversee other internet related activities (such as RS Official IRC Channels). The accuracy and content of all data on the domain is under the control of the RSIO.
Council of Justice: The Rebel Squadrons Council of Justice (CoJ) serves to interpret the Bylaws and disseminate justice on such cases where it is needed. The CoJ will be on-hand to answer questions about the Bylaws and to direct the complaints of RS members into the correct channels. The CoJ will hold cases when appropriate and adhere to the judiciary chain of command and procedures outlined in Section 5 of the Bylaws. It should be noted that the CoJ is not the final word on the Bylaws, and is not a substitute for the High Command.
Operations Officer: The Rebel Squadrons Operations Officer (OO) is responsible for overseeing and administering single player and multiplayer club wide events, competitions, and systems of merit, as well as all competitions for the Rebel Squadrons in conjunction with other participating club(s).
Minster of External Affairs: The Rebel Squadrons Minister of External Affairs (MoEA) is responsible for acting as the chief liaison with RS relations between other clubs and organizations. The MoEA is granted the power to act as this liaison according to the Foreign Policy and Alliance Policy set by the High Command. The MoEA may begin negotiations for alliances or absorptions into the Rebel Squadrons.
Medals Officer: The Rebel Squadrons Medals Officer (MO) is responsible for the awarding and creation of all RS-wide medals and uniforms. The MO shall not be responsible for Fleet specific medal systems.
Historical Officer: The Rebel Squadrons Historical Officer (HO) is the caretaker of the history of the RS. He or she will be in charge of maintaining the Office of Historical Records and piecing together as much information about the RS' past as possible. The records the HO maintains will be made available to the RS at large.
